The 34th national meeting of the Oncology Gynecology Section of the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SEGO) took place in Barcelona from October 18 to 20, with more than 500 participants and the international attendance of the European Society (ESGO) and the Felix Rudledge Society.
Dr. Jordi Ponce, Head of the Gynecology Service of the Bellvitge University Hospital and president of the congress, presented a prospective study of the applicability of the GynEC®-DX test in the first step of endometrial cancer diagnosis. This renowned specialist highlighted data, not only from the cost-effectiveness analysis of its use, but also from the clear clinical benefits obtained by the test.
Dr. Ponce: “the GynEC®-DX test is effective in reducing tests performed, visits, hospital referrals and hysteroscopies. It is also cost-efficient, assuming, with confidence, the non-performance of repetitions and demonstrably unnecessary hysteroscopies.”
